Robin has been employed by the Office of the State Treasurer since 1990.
Previous experience in banking and management, positioned her to direct her
talents to aid the office during an incredible time of growth and economic
fluctuation. In response to this environment, Robin has pursued a Debt Service
Agreement creating $20,000,000 for the State of Nevada, managed an Interest
Rate Swap creating over $5,000,000 for the State, sought legislation for and
coordinates Lease Purchase transactions and manages just under 3 billion
dollars of debt for the State of Nevada. Her career goal is simple, to serve the
needs of the taxpayer in the best interests of the State.
She is a graduate of the California State University, Chico obtaining a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and
Accounting.
Robin fills her free time as a past member of the Rape Crisis Board of Directors,
Chico CA. and a past Parks and Recreation Commissioner and Chair in Douglas
County, NV. She is the Immediate Past Chairman of the National Association of
State Treasurer’s State Debt Management Association and Secretary to the
Nevada Government Financial Officers Association. She and her husband, Barry T.
Smith, are enjoying the empty nest lifestyle and visits from their 3 children and
three grandchildren.

Ramona has been a member of the Nevada Government Finance Officers
Association since 1999 and joined Incline Village General Improvement District in
1994 where she is the Director of Finance, Accounting, and Information
Technology. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
She has served on several Boards in the capacity of Treasurer and currently serves
as the Treasurer for the North Lake Tahoe Boys and Girls Club. Other volunteer
activities have included, Treasurer for the Northern California JDE Users Group,
President, Northern California JDE User’s Group, and Quest Board of Directors.

Rebecca Coates, Membership Officer, South

Becky has been with the Clark County Treasurer’s office for 14 years and the Assistant Treasurer
since May 2006. Prior to this she has held several positions in the Treasurer’s office including
Manager of Tax Receiver, Operations Administrator, Management Analyst, and Accountant.
Becky has been with Clark County since 1990. She started in Justice Court as an Office Assistant
and after completing college moved to the Treasurer’s office in July 1993.
Becky recently completed her MPA at UNLV. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Business
Administration; majoring in Accounting; from UNLV in December 1992.
Becky is originally from Minnesota, but has been in the Las Vegas area since 1987. She has a
16 year old son.

Claudette Springmeyer is the Comptroller for Douglas County in Minden, Nevada.
She began as the Chief Deputy Auditor in 1988 and was appointed Douglas
County’s first Comptroller in 1994. Prior to working for Douglas County, she was in
the banking industry for 12 years with her final position as A.V.P./Customer Service
Manager for First Interstate Bank (now Wells Fargo).
Claudette graduated from Western Nevada Community College and attended the
University of Nevada, Reno. She is a 4th generation native Nevadan from Yerington.
Currently, she serves as Fiscal Officer for the Nevada Association of Counties
(NACO) and is immediate past president of the County Fiscal Officers Association
of Nevada. She has been an active member of CFOA (County Fiscal Officers’
Association) and NGFOA(Nevada Government Finance Officers Association) for 16
years.
Claudette has been married to husband Tom for 36 years. They have two
daughters and five grandchildren. In addition to coaching the grandkids soccer,
and T-ball teams, and attending their many activities, she occasionally plays bass
with the Carson City Symphony.
